What a wonderful creative mind you have!!!! I have SO many ideas in my head but getting them made is another thing!!!
Any ideas, thoughts on how to make this into a bed quilt? This would be perfect for my college bound daughter's dorm.
Make the main center sqr as many times as you need for the size you bed quilt you need and go from there. If you want the edge scallops then make as many as needed to attach around the sides.
Hi, Deelynn: There are two ways which would work without too much fuss, depending on how large you would like your finished quilt. Measure your bed and decide how large each block needs to be to reach that measurement. The templates may be enlarged on a photocopier to your desired size. The other way would be to double the size of the centre square - i.e. instead of making it 4 blocks by 4 blocs, try making it 8 x 8 and proceed from there. You will end up with a unique quilt for your daughter's dorm. Whichever way you decide, I hope you will share a picture with us. Thanks and good luck! Karen
Thank You for your thoughts on this. The more I read the pattern, and now I see your comment sewkarenly, I decided to enlarge the templates and go from there. Will be using just 3 colors, black, red and white which is her theme colors for the room. Will post pics when completed. Wanting to get this to her for her Birthday which is Oct 4th.
This will look great on my round table! Thanks!
