In the late 70's I discovered patchwork. It has been a wonderful journey learning the many different techniques and making dozens of quilts. Over the last decade I have had many of my designs published in Australian Quilt & Craft magazines. I hope that you enjoy making my wide range of patterns.
RASPBERRY ROSES table runner, table topper, applique table runner. A lovely floral fabric is chosen and complimented by fabrics that blend to make an applique border. Fusible applique, machine blanket stitch. You could finish the appliques by hand if this is your preferred method. The applique table runner pattern includes the materials list, complete instructions and full size diagrams to complete the runner on your machine.
I have chosen a beautiful floral fabric for the centre panel and then picked out a couple of colours for the flowers in the border. The centres have been finished on the machine using the feet down, free embroidery technique. This is explained in the instructions. Your may prefer to finish off the centres by hand if your prefer.
I made this lovely runner for my cousin's 75th birthday where it takes pride of place on her dining table.
This is one of my designed published in Australian Country Craft and Decorating magazine that I now have pleasure in offering as an instant download.
