How much did I pay for this pattern? I saw it on Facebook, clicked on the pattern then was taken to Crafts, which said, thank you for purchasing this pattern. I would like to have a choice weather to purchase or not. At the least to know how much. All I wanted to do was put it in my wishlist, so I could look at it later.

You didn't pay anything for it -- it was free.

I got confused between the steps, Sew an orange triangles to each yellow triangle and then sew another orange triangle to the other side. Which side and where is the cute made to get that piece correct?

You sew the orange triangles to the yellow squares (there are no yellow triangles.) There are photos for each step to make it easier.

I have not had the chance to make this pot holder yet, but have used the instructions for the binding for other pot holders I have made. Just want to tell you that I love the way this binding is done - so quick and easy. Thank you

Hello, after receiving a message from Craftsy that there's an update on the potholder pattern, I can't find it. Help.

Hi - the pattern was recently replaced with a smaller file size to help people that were having problems downloading the larger file size pattern. This new pattern is exactly the same, so if you were successful in downloading the original you do not need to download the new pattern. Sorry for any confusion.

received notice from Craftsy that there is an update to the potholder pattern. There is an orange rectangular box that reads View and Download updated pattern. Well, when you click on it it takes you to the original pattern. I've complained about it because that has happened with all notices of corrected patterns and updates I have received. They keep telling me to contact the designer. Yet they keep displaying the box "view and upload updated pattern... If they want us to contact the designer, they should say so at that point instead!!

I downloaded this pattern, but the pages are all purple and I barely see the pictures. Is this really the only copy available?

JacquelynneSteves on craftsy.com
JacquelynneSteves  August 9, 2014

Sorry you are having difficulty - there should not be purple on the page unless you have accidentally selected the entire page (which is a PDF). If you download to your computer and then re-open it the purple may go away.

If you are still having problems, you can visit my blog to get the instructions (you will have to copy and paste this address into your browser).

Thank you for allowing this pattern to be a free one.

I love this pattern I made it for my daughter, however I am having a
terrible time with the binding looks horrible don't know what I am doing wrong?

JacquelynneSteves on craftsy.com
JacquelynneSteves  January 3, 2014

Hi there! Sorry you are having trouble. Yes, the binding can be a little tricky and requires some practice. However, for a neater finish, you can try hand stitching it instead of machine stitching it. To do this, just follow the directions for attaching the binding by machine and folding it over to the back of the potholder. Pin it down, then finish it by hand sewing the binding to the back of the potholder. It takes a little longer to do it this way but you have more control so it comes out a little neater.
Hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Thank you for trying our patterns. The download process is handled by Craftsy, so I am not sure if the process has changed at all, but I believe that once it is in your cart, you add it to your library. Once in your library you can access by clicking on "My Craftsy" in the upper right (by your profile picture) and then clicking on "My Patterns" on the left side of the page.

You can also download this (and other free) patterns at my website at www.jacquelynnesteves.com or purchase patterns at www.jacquelynnesteves-shop.com
