I love this pattern I made it for my daughter, however I am having aterrible time with the binding looks horrible don't know what I am doing wrong?
Hi there! Sorry you are having trouble. Yes, the binding can be a little tricky and requires some practice. However, for a neater finish, you can try hand stitching it instead of machine stitching it. To do this, just follow the directions for attaching the binding by machine and folding it over to the back of the potholder. Pin it down, then finish it by hand sewing the binding to the back of the potholder. It takes a little longer to do it this way but you have more control so it comes out a little neater.Hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions!
I saved 2 freebe patterns in my CART - but I don't know where to go to download them??? HELP!! Thanks.
Thank you for trying our patterns. The download process is handled by Craftsy, so I am not sure if the process has changed at all, but I believe that once it is in your cart, you add it to your library. Once in your library you can access by clicking on "My Craftsy" in the upper right (by your profile picture) and then clicking on "My Patterns" on the left side of the page. You can also download this (and other free) patterns at my website at www.jacquelynnesteves.com or purchase patterns at www.jacquelynnesteves-shop.com
I was able to download the pattern with no problem. Looking forward to making it.
Thanks for the pattern. I am new to quilting and wanted to start with something small. Will let you know how it goes. I had no problem with the download. Thanks.
That's great Wendy- thanks for letting me know that your download worked. Please let me know if you have any question :) Have fun!
I just tried to download this pattern, and when I went to cart it was there, but the pdf file would not open the pattern directions. It was blank when I opened it up. Guess I will try and make my own pattern instead..
doesn't work for me either.
Sorry about that- I don't know why it's not working for some of you. The download is handled by the Craftsy website, so maybe there is a glitch there?Anyway, you can go to the post and there is a link there for the pdf.
