Pattern Description:

Spring has arrived, and that means that many of us will soon be taking to the road and heading off for relaxation and adventure. Let's go somewhere and set up camp!

This colorful little mug rug will brighten up your desk or tabletop and remind you of wonderful camping trips, both those of the past and those yet to come. It would also make a special gift for the camper in your world.

This project is made with fusible web and goes together very quickly. Mug rugs are just the right size to hold a cup or glass of your favorite something to drink and a small snack. Make one or make a bunch, and add a splash of color to your home or office.

The pattern for this project is detailed with complete instructions containing many helpful photos. Full size templates, and a full size layout plan are included.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 6" x 10"


  • One 7" x 10 1/2" rectangle of fabric for the background. One 8" x 11" piece of fabric for backing. Scraps of fabric for applique. 1/8 yard fabric for binding. One 8" x 11" piece of batting. Fusible web for applique. Invisible polyester thread (optional). Thread.
