Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Good rotary cutting and piecing (sewing) skills

Pattern Description:

I developed this pattern to showcase the wonderful panels and large scale prints that are currently very popular. When you find a large scale print that you love it is very hard to cut it up. This pattern provides a way to "frame" the print in a large center section and to show it off to its full advantage.

Three variations of this design are included in this pattern: Wall quilt, Lap quilt and Runner/wall hanging, each with detailed instructions, diagrams and templates for "Moon Blocks" (aka Drunkards Path)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • There are three sizes in this pattern: Wall Quilt: 46 1/2" x 48 1/2", Lap Quilt: 64" x 66", and Runner/Wall Quilt: 30" x 60"

Materials:

  • 100% cotton printed panel or large scale print, rotary cutter, 6" x 24" acrylic ruler. Complete supply list for three versions of this designincluded in pattern.

You Will Also Need:

  • batting and backing materials, thread to match fabrics used.
