Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic sewing skills, Rotary cutting skills, Straight piecing

Pattern Description:

Mirror Mirror is a log-cabin variation, designed to look like two nested oval rings. It sews up easily, and makes a lovely, cheerful quilt top!

I've shown two versions of this quilt, with two very different looks. One of the versions has been made up using scrappy flowered fabric. The other version - a baby quilt, is made with bright fabric in the colors of a rainbow-perfect for when you aren't sure if it's a little boy or a little girl you are quilting for!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Crib Quilt (37" x 43")
  • Lap Quilt (49" x 57")
  • Twin/Single Quilt (73" x 85")
  • Full/Double Quilt (85" x 85")
  • Queen Quilt (97" x 99")
  • King Quilt (109" x 99")

  • You will need one background/sashing fabric. I've used white in my quilt.
  • You will also need scraps for the rings - the rings are fat-quarter friendly!
  • Small scale prints work best.

You Will Also Need:

  • Backing and batting to finish.
  • Additional fabric for optional borders and binding
