I am an artist who actually began quilting as a girl, teaching myself from books. In college my art took me in another direction and I received a Batchelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. After working in advertising and then beginning a family, I finally took my first quilt class in 1985. Raising children and several cross country moves slowed the process. Now, with the children on their own, I am a full-time quiltaholic. I work part-time at a quilt shop in San Antonio, Texas. My first pattern, Pinwheels and Bars, was designed to showcase a line of fabric we carried. There was such a positive response to the pattern that I began to develop more designs. I hope you enjoy making my quilts as much as I enjoy designing them!View all patterns by designer (3) »
Have fun with this quick and easy quilt that is perfect for using up those fat quarters! Large half square triangles are reminiscent of Flying Geese. Changing the fabrics you use, whether scrappy or planned, can give this quilt many different looks. Pattern offers instructions for several sizes from lap to king.
