A matryoshka doll, known also as a Russian nested doll or a babushka doll, consists of a set of wooden dolls of decreasing sizes placed one inside the other. This little project is an interpretation of that concept... in fabric!
This is a scrappy quilt. As such, no yardage is given for this project. The intention is for you to use fun novelty fabrics - lovely florals or your favorite reproduction fabrics. I encourage you also to embellish as much as you like, adding ribbons, lace, buttons, beads, etc. to give your project a special touch!
