I am the Patchsmith. I patch, applique, sew and quilt. I have been creating a life of fabric, fun and friends for many, many years. I believe a pattern should be easy to follow, with clear diagrams and full-size templates. Value is also very important to me - both in terms of fabric wastage and to the buyer. Patchwork is about sharing and that is why all my patterns are priced for everybody to afford.

The lighthouse is a universal symbol of safety with its guiding light leading us away from harm. This lovely nautical wall quilt is formed easily using the strip piecing method. Its borders can be created using squares from a sample pack of fabrics. It would make a great addition to a study or position it so that it is the first thing you see and it will always serve to remind you that you are safely home.
This pattern is for personal use but permission is also granted to make this item to sell provided the item is handmade by you and you credit The Patchsmith for the design. No mass production allowed.
