Pattern Description:

Missed the free version of this quilt along? You can still join in the fun.... now available to download in this paid version.

All lessons have been edited to reduce duplication in how the quilt along was delivered week by week; and anything that no longer applies. The pattern contains 49 pages.

Please read through ALL instructions before you begin this project, as there are several options to consider, along the way.

For inspiration; and viewing completed blocks, visit the Gallery on the website to see my own blocks; or visit the Facebook page to see current participants sharing their quilt blocks.

How it works:
......To create these unique applique blocks; your inspiration is taken from events in your life (or the person for whom you are making this quilt) as the name given to this quilt, "Life's A Journey" suggests, whether real or imaginary.
......The applique templates are reversed and ready to draw onto the fusible web paper.
......There are ten pieced blocks; twelve appliqued blocks; and two specialty blocks.
......This project is a perfect way to utilize fabrics in your stash; and ALL the blocks can be made completely with scrap fabrics.

If you prefer making wall-hanging quilts; this will make the perfect project. (Although, if you wish to make it larger, there are two layouts to show you how to do this.) Benefits include: much less time, money, and fabric needed to complete this delightful scrappy quilt; the perfect gift for someone special.

Fabric requirements shown here are for the wall-hanging size. Hope you give this one a try!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Quilt size: approximately: 33" x 33"
