Pattern Description:

This adorable sewing machine cover has been designed for the young at heart! With some time spent piecing and stitching, it can be all made up and sitting pretty in just a weekend! The bird is made out of an Ohio quilt block that is then reverse-appliqued to the cover, diagrams and colour-photos are included to teach the whole process. The pattern is adaptable to suit a larger sewing machine and instructions are included for how to do this. Have fun making this decorative item for your sewing room!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 40cm x 32cm x 18cm (15 3/4 in x 12 1/2in x 7in)
  • (pattern is adaptable)


  • 60cm blue spot print, 50cm solid blue print, fat quarter light green fabric, fat eighths each of four coordinating fabrics, 60cm fusible batting, Five skeins of DMC stranded thread, 30cm fusible webbing

You Will Also Need:

  • Thin cardboard for templates, glue stick, embroidery needle, rotary cutter, ruler and mat, sewing machine and general sewing supplies
