Pattern Description:
No points to worry with and no matching! This scrappy quilt is truly meant for a lazy day and gives stunning results.
Perfect for a layer cake or cut scraps into 10" x 10" squares. For an even more scrappy look, have a quilting party and trade blocks among quilting friends.
So much fun and so quick and easy!
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Quilt blocks are approximately 11" x 11"
- Multi-sized pattern - following sizes suggested
- Wall-hanging, 38" x 38", 6 blocks set 3 x 3
- Lap Quilt, 54" x 54", 16 blocks set 4 x 4
- Twin Quilt, 66" x 97", 28 blocks set 4 x 7
- Full Size Quilt, 78" x 103", 35 blocks set 5 x 7
- Queen Size Quilt, 93" x 114", 48 blocks set 6 x 8
- King Size Quilt, 114" x 114", 64 blocks set 8 x 8, 15" border
Materials:
- Good for layer cakes and scraps
- Assorted 10" cotton fabric squares sorted into an equal number of light and dark values
- Number of squares needed will depend on size of quilt desired.
- Each block requires the equivalent of 1 light and 1 dark 10" square plus a 5" center square
You Will Also Need:
- Neutral or matching thread
- General sewing supplies: scissors, seam ripper, pins, marker or pencil, etc.
- Rotary cutter with sharp blade
- Cutting Mat
- 6" x 24" acrylic quilter's ruler
- Sewing machine, foot pedal, power cord, 1/4 inch foot helpful
- optional: 12" or 12-1/2" quilter's square-up ruler
