I bought this kit and loved the pattern and the fabric. My friend, whose husband just passed loved it also and I gave my kit to her. I would love to have one for me. Where can I get another one?
Ahoy Katad! We are so glad that you loved this beautiful kit; and, while Lasting Luminescence isn't available any longer, you can browse all the great quilt kits that Craftsy has to offer here: http://www.craftsy.com/kits/quilting You're sure to find something you love!Happy Quilting.

I just received the fabric for this pattern but can't download the pattern. It says it's no longer available but I bought it with my fabric. Please help.

I just made this quilt top, I"d like to get matching fabric to make the back of the quilt. Where can I order it?
Fabrics.com has a lot of the fabric left. Just put in Robert Kaufman Luminescense and it should come up.
Pattern can not be printed!?

I can't seem to open the pattern directions. Is there one that can be sent to my email or through mail that I can use?
Oh and I should state, that this will be the first pattern I will have ever followed. So hope it's easy to understand.
this is an easy pattern to follow. It was also my first pattern and I ended up making two of them. Here is a link to my patterns for the Luminescense quilt. Hopefully this works.file:///C:/Users/TBD/Downloads/Lasting%20Luminescense%20(1).pdf
I can't get teh pattern opne. Says it's corrupt. Can you send me one that I can open please?
file:///C:/Users/TBD/Downloads/Lasting%20Luminescense%20(1).pdf Try this link as it is from my patterns. I have made the quilt in both the blue and dawn.
I would love to have a picture of the pattern made up in the Peacock prints as I can't tell from the miniscule pictures of the fabric which one is which.
I received fabric but can not get pattern to open. Have tried your FAQ and contacting Craftsy but no replys. Can I receive corrected version through mail or different email address, perhaps?
By the way, I did order all 3 of these colors.
I can not open the free pattern, I can not get my printer is not working is there a way I can get a hard copy of this pattern?
I don't seem to have any fabric for the binding. I can't find where it identifies it in the instructions either.
There is no binding or backing fabric included in the kit. I was able to find both at Fabric.com and all colors in this line were available. I brought this issue up during the recent Craftsy survey, and hopefully, they'll make completer fabrics available to us in the future.
I have the same question as grandma3211. Is this the second upate (according to the emails I received, it is) but what has changed? Is the pattern in my patterns the latest update?
Ok Ladies! I had the older version saved on my computer and compared it to this newer version and found the only difference was that in step 5 it now says "sew together your Fabric I panel" and before it just said "sew together your panel". So, I think this was due to many people asking where Fabric I was being used. I wanted to know what the update was as well and thought I could help!
There is one other correction..for Fabric I (the ribbon panels), cutting instructions now say 5-1/2 inches wide, whereas the older version said 5 inches. Also, no, the pattern does not auto-update on your computer, you do have to download it again to get the latest version
Is this the SECOND update of this pattern? If so, what has changed? If you update your patterns, could you PLEASE define the SPECIFIC changes?? Thanks so much. :D
I have this kit in 2 different color way --and downloaded both patterns -now one has disappeared . now need to to re-download it-it is no longer there. What happened?
check in "your Patterns" is should be there.
Ugh. I am a beginner quilter and I couldn't make any sense of this pattern. I am going to wait until I hear from all of you wonderful posters that all the updates make sense. I was going to make this for my daughter who is getting married soon, but that may not happen. :(
I have just begun to cut the fabric and can see several inconsistencies in the instructions. I agree that there is no mention of Fabric I, plus other cutting instructions are inexact. Please advise.
I cut Fabric H out wrong, not only are the stripes now vertical, they only measure 18" and not the 20" required and I doubt I'll find any of that fabric anywhere around here - anyone have any bright ideas?
Not to worry, you should have a few inches to spare after you join the three strips together as needed for each side. There's also additional adjustments that could be made to the top and bottom borders...you can easily take a 1/4 inch off of the two rows before you sew them together...as long as it's consistent top and bottom, it won't be noticeable. :-)
I must be blind but I have read and re-read the instructions and nowhere do I see where Fabric I is used.
It's construction step # 5..Fabric I are the ribbon panels.
There appears to be at least one if not two errors in this pattern. I have pieced as instructed and now have panels of ribbon fabric that are not fitting with borders. There is not enough fabric to make corrections. Not sure what to do now.
UGH! I have mine all pieced together and the borders are too big. PLUS the selvage of ribbon fabric is HUGE! I had to cut down the small rectangles on the ends. Not happy that I'm all together and now have to adjust the borders. Doesn't anyone proof read these or put one together following the instructions??
I had the center all pieced and the borders completed before I realized the instructions were wrong. I trimmed an inch off each side of the top and bottom borders. It makes the quilt 2" narrower but at least it fits! The panel strips should be cut 5-1/2 inches wide by WOF to fit the borders.
I deleted the pattern revisions. Please resend.
How much batting is needed? I didn't see it in the instructions.
measure your quilt-that's how much batting you will need
Okay, thank you.
I am having trouble with the body of the quilt being smaller than the top and bottom borders. Is there an error in the pattern? Should the ribbon panel have been 5 1/2 instead of 5 inches as the pattern states? I do not have enough ribbon fabric to fix this problem. I have bought 3 of these kits.
I also had trouble understanding some of the pattern directions and I've quilted for years! Some measurements seem not to be correct. Had to "adjust" as I sewed. Did the Peacock color-very pretty.
I have the same problem as Judith Lujan---but I didn't calculate before I put the center together. I think I'm going to have to add a 2" inner border. Do you have any other ideas?
Hi, I am working on the pattern and am stuck on the half-hour glass unit. I understand the first part and cutting along the line from corner to corner, but don't understand what it means...and again across the opposite diagonal....could someone clarify?
I cannot download the pattern
You will the Jewel tones! here is a picture of the quilt top. I have to finish the quilting part soon.
I bought the pattern and the fabric. I am having a problem with the instructions. The body of the quilt ( the columns) do not line up with the border section.Did you have any corrections on your pattern? I think it should be 5 1/2" for the ribbon panels! Not 5"Anyone have that problem?
I'm glad I saw your comment, my kit should arrive soon, I will check into this too. Hope someone answers.
I haven't heard anything yet but they are sending another fat quarter bundle. Just make the ribbon fabric cut 5 1/2" not 5". I really love it. I got the peacock colorway.
YOU ARE RIGHT!! I cut 5 1/2 x 41 (instead of the 40 1/2) and it fitted perfectly. Just finish the whole front today. Thanks for bringing up! :-))
I have the kit for this but I want to make it larger. Does anyone have an idea on how to make it larger. Love the material for this quilt.
I just bought the quilt patterns also. I bought two of each color since they were on sale. Like you, I want it larger so I purchased extra charm pack and jelly roll to use for extra borders and binding. Since I bought two of each I figure I can use the extra panel and additional fabric for the backing too.
This was my first quilt and I completely enjoyed it! I am now on to my second quilt . I believe I am hooked on quilting! Challenging but fun!
Did you post a picture yet? What color way did you choose?I would love to see it!!!
Post a pic please :-)) My "Jewel" color kit will arrive soon and would like to see what it looks like.
I chose the Jewel, also. I posted a picture...not sure where it will show up! Maybe under finished projects. Enjoy this quilt..it is user friendly!
The picture ended up under Pattern details, Pattern reviews.
I had posted a pic too and it went "somewhere" lol. The Jewel is beautiful!
This was the first quilt I ever made following a pattern.I have only made 2 other quilts and they were art quilts.I really enjoyed this pattern and learned a lot through the process of creating it. Now to quilt it!
