Hello! My name is Hope. I started my crafting adventure by helping my Mom make Christmas ornaments from Montgomery Ward at age 6. She showed me how to take a straight pin, load on beads and a sequin so she could put it onto Styrofoam shapes. I still have those ornaments years later. After that, I went on to learn how to crochet, embroider, sew (somewhat) and make jewelry.
My husband is retired, so I have built an at home business to supplement our income. Treasures In Stitches is slowly gaining momentum. I create quilt and project patterns along with customized machine-embroidered items.
Wishing you an awesome day!
Here's how to find TIS around the web:
This pattern is easy to sew together using pre-cuts; however, you can use yardage if desired. I have included the amounts needed.
This is a 7-page PDF document with photos, illustrations and information for various widths of bindings.
It's a fun project - it can be totally scrappy OR it can be very elegant - it.depends on what your fabric choices are.
This quilt top can be made up in a weekend and then quilted/bound the next weekend.
