Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic quilting skills, fusible web applique

Pattern Description:

School is out, summer is well underway, and July is filled with joyful events - parades, family reunions, vacations, and more. Excited children can't help jumping for the sheer joy of it, and these pets are joining in the fun.

This pattern contains four pages of instructions with photos. It includes full size templates for the children, puppies, and other pieces, as well as full size layouts of each of the mug rugs. The layouts show placement of applique pieces and the lines where embroidery is used.

You will find that these mini-quilts are very easy to make. The most difficult part is the precision cutting out of the characters. The sewing goes quickly. The children and pets mug rugs are perfect for adding a bit of traditional whimsy to a coffee table or desktop.

I would love to see photos of your completed work in the completed projects section of this pattern page.
