Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Beginner paper piecing , Sewing an exact 1/4" seam allowance, turn blocks to make 90 degree

Pattern Description:

A must have patter if you are expecting a baby boy or you want to make a quilt for a friend or family member. It's a unique baby/crib quilt that allows you to use only fabric for your stash. The fussy cut on the 6"x6" blocks make the sewing fast, and it can be made in a few days.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 46"x 60"


  • Baby blue (for letters and other background) - 3/4 yard, White (for half square triangles) - 1/2 yard, 8 fat quarters for fussy cut, Left over background fabric and other colors for blocks, Bright green (1st border and binding) - 1 yard, Striped fabric (2nd border) - 1/2 yard, Outer borders - 1/2 yard of each color, Freezer paper 8 1/2" x 11", Batting 60"x 75", Backing 60"x 75",

  • Sewing and quilting supplies (threads, rotary cutter and self healing mat)
