Pattern Description:

The Hexagon Tree Skirt pattern is a quick and easy project great for modern or traditional fabrics. Simply add a solid color border to unify your favorite Christmas fabrics! This pattern includes instructions for three sizes of tree skirts! The small is great for a 3-4 foot kid's Christmas tree. The medium is perfect for a 5-7 foot slim-line Christmas tree. The large is best for live or larger artificial trees. Now you can make one for any person or room in your house!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Small 25" diameter point to point
  • Medium 46" diameter point to point
  • Large 60" diameter point to point

Materials:

  • Small size needs 6 fat eigths (or use fat quarter per directional print) for the triangles, 1/4 yard for the border, 2/3 yard for the binding, and 7/8 yard for the backing and batting
  • Medium size needs 6 fat quarters (or use 2/3 yard per directional print) for the triangles, 1/2 yard for the border, 7/8 yard for the binding, and 1 1/2 yards for the backing and batting
  • Large size needs 6 half yard cuts (or use 3/4 yard cut per directional fabric) for triangles, 7/8 yard for the border, 1 yard for the binding, 2 1/2 yards of 108" wide quilt backing for backing, and 2 1/2 yards for the batting
