Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic sewing skills or beginning qulting skills and a willingness to have a lot of fun!
  • Also knowledge of fusible web machine applique methods are helpful!

Pattern Description:

Sew up this trio of ghoulish ghosts in a snap on this "boooooootiful" wallhanging. Large shapes make for super fast applique and a fast and fun slash 'n sew 4-patch border perfectly shows off your collection of Halloween novelty fabrics!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 24" X 36"


  • (3-4) Assorted Purple Prints (Background)(1) Fat Quarter Each or 3/4 yard total
  • White & Black Prints (3 Ghosts)(1) Fat Quarter Each or 1/3 yard total
  • Light Blue or Gray Print (Ghost Eyeballs)3" X 7" piece
  • Black Print (Ghost Pupils)4" X 4" piece
  • Assorted Bright Prints (Stars)10" X 10" piece or 1/4 yard total
  • Assorted Halloween Fabrics (Outer Border)1 yard total
  • Black Print (Binding)1/4 yard total
  • Backing Fabric1 yard total
  • BattingCrib Size or 30" X 38" piece

You Will Also Need:

  • 1 yard Paper Backed Fusible Web
  • Size 90/14 Universal Sewing Machine Needle
  • Basic Quilting Supplies such as: scissors, rotary cutter, mat, acrylic straight ruler, 91/2" acrylic square ruler (recommended, but not required), sewing thread, washable marking pen/pencil, tape measure, #1 nickel plated safety pins (for basting), straight pins.
