Pattern Description:

Brighten your home and welcome visitors with a Happy Halloween Quilt. This project is very easy to make with pre-cut fat quarter fabric in fun Halloween motifs. The applique is an easy raw edge method and the binding is a quick ruffled edge. The quilt is a perfect lap size to cuddle under while you savor that leftover trick or treat candy!

Every step in this quilt was planned to create the most beautiful quilt possible in the most efficient way possible. There are 14 numbered steps and 9 photographs to guide you. The pattern pieces are full size designed to be printed from standard computer paper.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 40 x 35 inches (102 x 89 cm)


  • 4 fat quarters (18x21 inches or 45x53 cm) Halloween print fabric for the front of the quilt
  • 4 fat quarters (18x21 inches or 45x53 cm) Halloween print fabric for the back of the quilt
  • 1 crib size batting or piece measuring 42 x 37 inches (107 x 94 cm)
  • 1 fat quarter (18x21 inches or 45 x 53 cm) orange fabric for lettering

You Will Also Need:

  • scissors, thread, ruler
  • Safety pins (large)
  • Darning foot or free motion foot accessory for your sewing machine (optional)
