Pattern Description:

If you want a tasty treat ... Be sure to holler Trick or Treat!

The Happy Halloween Pattern is a not-so-spooky applique quilt pattern filled with the delights of Halloween. We designed this quilt to feature some of our favorite things of Halloween ... the cheerful and light-hearted side of this candy covered holiday.Plus, Halloween decorating is so much fun and this quilt is the perfect addition to your home during the month of October!

The first row of the quilt says it all ... Trick or Treat! The pattern features all of the applique letters you need and a helpful placement guide for the buttons. We think the fun buttons on the letters really bring this quilt to life.

The second row of the quilt features a holiday favorite ... Candy Corn! This sugary candy is an iconic piece of everyone's childhood ... don't you still have bowls of it in your house at Halloween? We do!

The third row of the quilt has three adorable Halloween pets ... Masked Cats! No scary black cats, just three normal, everyday house cats dressed up for the holiday in masks and a bow on their tails! We refer to them as the three masked bandits and we are pretty sure they would be out Trick or Treating for their favorite fishy treat!

The fourth row of the quilt features another Halloween icon ... Jack-O-Lanterns! These five Jack-O-Lanterns are really a place to have fun with fabrics on the quilt. You can make them all match or add dimension by picking different oranges for the body of the pumpkins. You can even get creative with their faces ... we stuck with traditional Jack-O-Lantern faces but you can certainly change them up!

The final row of the quilt may just be our favorite ... Monsters! As we mentioned above, this quilt is not-so-scary which you can tell by the silly monsters. The two outer monsters feature bow ties while the center monster is a one-eyed, crazy-haired cyclops! You can see in the picture below that we had fun with the eyeball buttons and the monster on the left is in a staring contest with a spider! Yikes!

We hope that you will enjoy making this quilt as much as we did! The applique included in the pattern is really fun to work on. Work row by row and before you know it this quilt will be ready to hang up in your home! Finished size is 34.5? by 45.5?.

This pattern is available for download immediately - don't you love instant gratification?! (And no shipping!) Simply print the PDF pattern on your home printer.
