Pattern Description:

Going Solo is a great quilting project utilizing a mix of pieced and appliqued shapes. The applique pieces for this daisy are a great size for any age and skill level whether from fusible web needle turn. The piecing techniques used make completing this project fast and easy. Simply by changing the colors of this quilt you could have a completely different look and a different flower, make it magenta for a purple cone flower, make it yellow for a black-eyed susan or a sunflower . Who wouldn't like someone to give them a flower!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 58.5"x72" Finished

Materials:

  • Center - Background- 8 Fat Quarters black
  • Petals- 1 Fat Quarter
  • Leaf-1 Fat Quarter Green
  • Stem- 1/8 yd Green
  • Flower center- Fat Eighth
  • Inner Border -1/2 yd Green
  • Outer border - 100 -5"x5" squares -mix of Green, White and Black - Charm packs work great for these!
  • Fusible web -1 yd
  • Backing -3 1/2 yds
  • Binding - 5/8 yd
