Intermediate
Momji is the Japanese word for maple. Add borders of your choice to the 14" block for a small wall hanging or combine with other Japanese Family Crest blocks for a larger quilt in the size of your choice. The pattern is full size and numbered for ease in positioning design elements. Diagrams are included on how to produce professional inside and outside points as well as Geri's special smooth edge technique. Consisting of only twenty nine pieces this is a good intermediate pattern.

Geraldine Richardson - Grannie "G" Applique
After Geri Richardson attended her first quilting course, she knew she had found the medium that would allow her to marry her technical skills as a land-planning drafter and natural artistic abilities to create inspirational works of art. Passionate about the craft, she eagerly absorbed the typical needlework techniques and common patterns used. Always one that colored outside the lines, Geri’s vision, however, was for something different. Having found her preferred medium, Geri worked to find techniques that would allow her to craft her innovative designs. Her passion for the art and natural determination caused her to rediscover a long-lost quilting technique that has allowed her to make her inspirations a reality. In 2002, Geri successfully launched a pattern design company, Grannie G Appliqué.
