Pattern Description:

Whip up an elegant design reminiscent of an English knot garden! "Forever" measures 30'' square and features my Topiary line for Blend Fabrics. The SKUs listed below are for the color scheme shown above.

Appliqu Fat quarters from Modern Lace or other line
Border Trim 3/8 yard ( Whitework Blue)
Border Checks 1/4 yard ( Chantilly Ivory)
Background 1-1/8 yard ( Passementerie Navy)
Binding 1/3 yard ( Chantilly Ivory)
Paper-backed Fusible Web 1 yard
Backing 1 yard of any Modern Lace print
Batting Warm and White
Tear-away stabilizer OR Enough to back a 22" square
Mary Ellen's Best Press
Thread 50 wt. Aurifil thread for piecing and 28 wt. for appliqu

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 30" square


  • 28 wt. and 50 wt. thread, quilting cotton, batting, and basic quilting supplies.

You Will Also Need:

  • Paper-backed fusible web and either starch or tear-away stabilizer
