Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Sew a consistant 1/4" seam

Pattern Description:

This pattern is very easy and is a perfect project for a novice quilter. It has one large square in each block, which is perfect for showcasing large prints, children's prints, or pictures. The pattern is written for two sizes. All you need to complete the quilt top are fat quarters, so fabric selection is very easy!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Baby Quilt, 36" x 48"
  • Large Lap Quilt, 60" x 72"

Materials:

  • Large Size 60" x 72"
  • 20 Fat Quarters
  • 3 2/3 yards of fabric for backing
  • 2/3 yard of fabric for binding
  • Baby Quilt size 36" x 48"
  • 9 Fat Quarters
  • 1 2/3 yards of fabric for backing
  • 1/2 yard of fabric for binding

You Will Also Need:

  • Quilting mat, quilting ruler and rotary cutter
  • 12 1/2" square quilting ruler
