As the theme of these mini quilts was originally to showcase how to make our computer station more quilt friendly; I designed "cat and mouse" and "mac and me". The third one to fit into this technology theme was inspired by the Windows logo.
Since my wish was to enlarge this concept and represent my flag; I updated my original design that now includes fifteen different flag styles. These styles will each be available separately; to keep the cost the same as the other mouse pad designs. Most include variations from the original style to show you how easy it is to adapt the style to similar flag designs.
[N] FOUR-PIECE DESIGN: Featuring--BAHAMAS
This design has four main pieces. The flag base is split into two parts: one triangular piece (#43) and three equal horizontal pieces (#44, #45, and #46).
This pattern includes instructions and all template pieces for this featured flag style. [Variations: none]
Sewing began my 'adventure with fabric' in seventh grade.
Fast forward about three decades, and it was machine applique that won my attention. Presently, I like to blend applique with scrap quilting techniques; and share my e-patterns here. I do still love new fabrics; however, am on a quest to turn my fabric stash into scrappy quilts. Visit me at my website or blog to find out more.
