Good Quilt Doodle's Feb. BOM 2013  March 22, 2013

A fun block to do with easy to follow instructions.

Average Fun pinwheels  February 18, 2013

I found the instructions pretty straightforward, but I had to figure a few things out myself. January's instructions were more clear. My pinwheels ended up on the opposite side, but they look all right. The squares have a bit of play, but once they're inset to other ones, I think the extra fabric will be more stable and lay flat.

I have a love for sewing and quilting that was started when I was a small child. I was encouraged by my mom, grandma and great grandma. I had excellent teachers!
