Pattern Description:

This pattern is all fun, no work! Start with a 40 piece charm pack, add 3 fat quarters, batting and backing and the quilt is done! It's the perfect project for a summer afternoon, for a beginner's first quilt , or a last minute gift. This pattern makes a great throw for an adult or crib size quilt for a child.

This pattern includes 7 pages of complete easy to follow directions with 11 photos. The pattern is written with metric units in parenthesis.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • approximately 34 x 48 inches (86 cm x 122 cm)

Materials:

  • 1 charm pack of 40 - 5 inch (12.7cm) squares of pre-cut fabric.
  • 1 fat quarter (18x21 inches or 45x53 cm) cotton fabric for the long top and bottom rows.
  • 2 fat quarters (18 x 21 inches or 45 x 53 cm) cotton fabric for the 4 inner long rows.
  • 1 piece 36 x 50 inches (92 x 127 cm) cotton batting for the middle layer of the quilt
  • 1 1/2 yard (137 cm) cotton or cotton flannel for the back of the quilt
