Pattern Description:

Inspired by the coneflowers and dragonflies in my own garden! The sample done for the pattern is made using batik fabrics and is it ever a beauty. This is a beautiful table runner pattern which will be a joy for both the beginner and experienced quilter. The finished tablerunner measures 12 1/2" x 36". The yardage given will make two table runners. One for you and one to share. How often is it that we make a project and then give it away as a gift? Well with this project you get to keep one for yourself! This pattern also makes a fun quilt retreat project you can do with a friend. There are two design choices for the applique. It's so much fun to make! This pattern is layer cake and fat quarter friendly. ***4 pages of directions with directions in US measurements with color picture of finished tablerunner.

Materials:

4 - 10" squares cream #1
4 - 10" squares cream #2
or 1/3 yard of two cream batiks
Border: 1/2 yard dark green batik
Coneflowers: 1 fat quarter each dark purple, & dark blue batiks
Flower Center & Dragonfly body: scrap or fat eight of dark brown batik
Leaves & stems: 1 fat quarter dark green batik
Dragonfly: 1 fat quarter each green and blue batik
Backing & binding: 1 1/4 yard dark green batik
2 - 14" x 40" piece (remember pattern makes two table runners)
fusiable transfer web (Heat n Bond)
Dark brown or matching thread for applique
