Skill Level:

medium skill level requirement Intermediate

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic quilting skills, use fusible or spray adhesive, sew on buttons

Pattern Description:

Our second best-selling book, "FOLLOW the DAZZLING QUILTS" includes this popular art quilt. Guild workshops have produced playful to exotic versions of this pattern. Substitute ric-rac for the silk ribbon, raid your button box for a delightful child's quilt.

Here we used dichroic glass buttons as tactile dots, connected by colorful hand-dyed silk ribbons. The buttons add sparkle and mischievous pleasure reminding us of those dot-to-dot puzzles we did as kids!

Make this easy pattern your own....use up scraps, fat quarter packs and feature one-of-a-kind vintage buttons for a memory quilt.
