Pattern Description:

You can't help smiling and feeling happy when you make this sunshine and rainbow quilt. How enjoyable to dream under these fabrics. Use 9 fabrics from Clover Sunshine by Andover Fabrics. You will love making this quilt as the 1/2 square triangle process has been streamlined and made easier for successful blocks called the "SAM HALF ANGLE" method. If you don't like cutting out triangles, then this is the pattern for you! Add a flange next to the border for punch!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 44" x 61"

Materials:

  • Cream 1 1/2 yards
  • Yellow 1/3 yard
  • Green print 1/3 yard
  • Turquoise 1 1/2 yards for squares & inset triangles
  • Red 2 yards for 1/2 square triangles, binding & flanges
  • Green & yellow 1/3 yard for sashing
  • Rainbow print 6 yards for outside border & backing
  • Yellow & Red 1/2 yard for sashing
  • Blue & Green 1/2 yard for sashing
  • Batting (4 yards)

You Will Also Need:

  • 6 1/2" x 24" ruler (If you have 6" x 24", that's OK.)
  • 3 1/2" X 3 1/2" square ruler (Should include diagonal line.)
  • Omnigrid Fons&Porter Half & Quarter ruler for Sam Half Angle method
  • Omnigrid Fons&Porter Easy Diagonal Sets ruler for side and corner setting triangles
  • My patterns include lots of pictures and diagrams, therefore, they are a lot longer.
