Back in 2009 i purchased a used Gammill longarm quilting machine in hopes of making a little extra $ to help send my sons to college. Oh wow! I never imagined how much I would LOVE my new adventure! Before that, I was a full time stay at home mom, volunteering in just about everything...even the local quilt shop. You'll find me in the 2002 Quilt Sampler magazine, just my picture, nothing more. lol :) I believe those days fueled my passion and here i am today, longarm quilting for clients, teaching classes at local quilt shops, and designing patterns. You'll find more about me and my work on my quilting blog: laugh yourself into Stitches*
Other than hit by the quilting bug...i love antiques, repurposing junk and digging in the dirt... but most of all, spending time with family...nothing better than that!

Just in time for Christmas....or all year 'round.
A strong beginner can make this quilt. Once you make your first Tree Block...it's just a repeat of 23 more!
Or...you can easily make this quilt into a quick table topper by simply combining 4 tree blocks. ezpz!
Intimidated by all those half square triangles? Not a problem! Make 8 at once with no bias.
So if you are thinking of making Poppa's Tree Farm in flannel....snugly yum...there is no need to worry about stretching those half square triangles.
Poppa's Tree Farm is great for all seasons.
