Basic Skills Necessary:

  • you should be experienced in using a sewing machine and some foundation paper-piecing experience would be helpful

Pattern Description:

I have been searching for a Christmas Quilt I wanted in my home for years and THIS IS IT!!
I am so looking forward to cuddling up in this quilt next to the Christmas tree with a big cup of hot chocolate and a cookie, (or two)! But I guess I'll have to wait!
My Santa's Stars quilt is a combination of paper piecing & more traditional quilting methods done in a non traditional way. lots of pictures and clear instructions, 2 options for choosing your fabric, Scrappy or matchie-machie.
you can keep it simple like I did or you can embellish it your way, its your Heirloom! (my kids are already fighting over this one), LOL!
I have to admit, I initially avoided learning foundation paper-piecing, but now I'm hooked because I simplified the process and developed my "own" P.P. method.
I have included a tutorial on my method for you to tryout with my pattern at no charge.
