Butterflies were often viewed as the spirits of departed relatives returning to visit the living. The word butterfly means transformation, new birth, new born children, eternal existence.

  • 3 yards background fabric
  • 2 yards black fabric for wings
  • 1/4 yard black and white dot fabric
  • 2 yards multicolored batik for wings
  • Quilt back 48x48 inches
