Pattern Description:

I once saw a vintage quilt that looked so modern and fresh that I became obsessed with it. after months, if not years, of thinking about it I finally sat down to draw and do some math to figure out how the blocks came together. then came the fun part: stash diving. I started with some cloud9 fabrics and used my favorite miscellany print to build my color palette around. I went wild and cut into my favorite scraps, including Japanese linens, voiles, organic cottons, and even some London of Liberty tana lawn!

I hope this pattern inspires you to cut into your precious scraps as the original did for me. take your time and enjoy the process of cutting all your squares and sewing up half square triangles. the pattern shows you different techniques you can use for sewing up HST's and diagrams are included for each step of the quilt.

finished quilt size is 86"x93" or 93"x93, but this can be increased or decreased by addine more or less rows or blocks. if you don't feel like making so many blocks, you can make one extra large block! bonus patterns for this are included and finished quilt size are 40"x40", 60"x60", and 90"x90".
