Skill Level:

medium skill level requirement Intermediate

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Any beginner could make this as I added many coloured photographs

Pattern Description:

I remember the first time I saw a bed runner, I thought what a novel idea for someone who likes duvets on her bed. I usually have chenille duvet covers on my bed that are solid in colour. So with bed runners I can change them by the season and I never tire of them. They are quick to make and they make for very lovely gifts for kids beds and shower gifts. I created this block because I have been obsessed with gingham this year, especially gingham from Riley Blake Designs. So I thought what a great idea to make a giant gingham pattern and since I love RED and WHITE so much, so classic, never ever goes out of style, I thought this would be a perfect design to share with you...Can you imagine this in blue and white or a floral pattern, how about a novelty fabric...I am already set to make a floral one....

For all those who have language barriers, you will be pleased to know I
took lot's of photos, 22 in fact, this pattern is 14 pages long!

Cheerfully yours Mdm Samm

In this season of my life I now stitch what I want, when I want and sometimes more hours than one would consider healthy. But I am happy, content and cannot wait to pour my first brew of the day and ponder what will be my next project. How lucky for us all that Craftsy supports designers and want to be ...
