I have been sewing since I was a young child, beginning first with clothing, and moving on to quilting when I was 18. I have always loved sewing, as well as needlepoint, counted cross stitch, crochet, knitting, and papercrafts! My mind never rests, always thinking of the next quilt or creation I will make, and there are enough hours in my lifetime to create them all! I hope you enjoy my designs and patterns and find them as fun and as satisfying as I do! xoxView all patterns by designer (3) »
This quilt was designed using the Stonehenge Stars and Stripes Collection by Northcott Fabrics. Intended for use as a Quilt of Valor, the quilt meets the requirements for a Quilt of Valor to be given to a member (past or present) of the military in service during wartime.
The center of the quilt features the panel from the collection, which adds dimension and interest to the quilt without requiring lots of intricate applique. The remainder of the quilt is constructed using simple half square triangles, squares and rectangles.
Instructions include the application of the "magic flanged binding" which can be sewn on by machine, which also meets QOV standards.
Kits for the quilt will be available AFTER Nov. 1, 2014 at Rainbows End Quilt Shoppe in Dunedin, Florida. To order your kit, please call (727) 733-8572. It is recommended that you call NOW to be sure to have a kit available for you when the fabrics are all in stock.
