Pattern Description:

Just In! A is for Alligator has just the right amount of piecing with a little bit of applique, so you can finish in no time at all and have an absolutely adorable quilt for the little ones. My son loves this quilt! and it fits perfectly on his toddler size bed. The finished quilt is 42" X 54".


  • 1 yard of black fabric
  • 1 yard of white fabric
  • 1/2 yard of green fabric for the alligator
  • 1 1/4 yard of fabric for bias binding
  • 1 5/8 yard of backing fabric, we used a black polka dot
  • Scraps of hot pink, yellow, red, aqua & orange for the bird applique
  • a bit of embroidery thread for birds legs

You Will Also Need:

  • basic quilting supplies
  • notions required for your favorite applique method
