Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Sewing with a 1/4" seam
  • Quilt basting & binding

Pattern Description:

This beautiful quilt - perfect for beginners because there are so few seams to line up - features small squares surrounding a larger center panel, all brought together with crisp, white sashing. For a scrappier look, replace the surrounding squares with 5" Charm Squares or bits from your stash. Finishing at a generous 45", this quilt is the perfect gift for the little sea princess in your life!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 45" x 45"


  • Mermaid Play print: 1/2 yard
  • Sea Flower print: 3/4 yard
  • Watery Chevron print: 1/2 yard
  • Find the Narwhal print - 3/4 yard
  • White solid: 3/4 yard
  • Batting & Backing: 53" x 53" piece of each

You Will Also Need:

  • Rotary Cutter, Rotary Ruler, and Cutting Mat
  • Iron, Ironing Board, and Starch
  • Fabric Tape Measure
