Great pattern. I made this in an Easter theme with bunnies, ducks and carrot fabrics for my granddaughter and it turned out adorable. In the front middle, the buttons I used were an Easter basket and three eggs. My daughter-in-law liked this so much and she has asked me to make her one. I have three questions. First, have you made the bag with only one piece of fusible fleece in the front and back sections? If so, were there any issues? Second, I am considering increasing the width by 1/2" to enable all the polish pockets to be a full 2.5" allowing for the seams. Do you see any concerns with this? Third, I followed the optional step to bind the seams which gave a really nice finish but am wondering if there would be a way to make the bag so the side seams would be turned in?

Many thanks for your kind words. Your Easter themed one sounds adorable! With regards to all the modifications that you asked me about, I would have to make up one with all those changes in order to give you an accurate answer, and I just don't have time to do that now. I know in the past I have had a student or two who have wanted to modify a purse or bag in class, and while it seemed okay at the start, it turned into many more changes than I was initially anticipating. So I would hate to say, "yes that would work", and then have you start to make the bag with changes and come across additional situations. However, if you do make one up with changes that work, I would love to hear how it turned out.
