Basic Skills Necessary:

  • hand or machine sewing of diamond shapes and hand quilting

Pattern Description:

Protect your tablet or "iPad" with this snug fitting 'i-Purse". The pattern is for a quilted diamond-patch purse, or use the basic pattern and embellish with yo-yos or embroidery to make a perfect gift. The frame with sewing holes is available separately to fit this pattern from:

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • approx 9.5" wide x 11" long


  • Fabric scraps for the diamonds; two, 12" squares of fabric for lining; two, 12" squares of cotton batting, 2/3 yd rick-rack for the edging and pearl thread to sew in the frame

  • 9.5" wide rectangular purse frame with sewing holes
