Pattern Description:

This is a great way to use up old calendars. You can also use pretty scrapbooking papers or magazines or greeting cards too. These make great gifts and stocking stuffers too. Tuck a little book into your purse so you can jot down things before you forget.

Try making some little books using a theme, such as making all your quilting friends a little book using an old quilt calendar; or use an old knitting calendar for your knitting friends, a children's calendar for the little ones, etc. You will be recycling, upcycling and repurposing all at once!

The original directions for this pattern are clearly written and spot on. I had no issues and there was no need to revamp the method of construction. It was my choice and desire to use completely recycled/reclaimed fabric and paper.
