I don't know about you, but finding fun Easter traditions has been hard for me- especially traditions based around the religious aspect of Easter! This year I got sick of looking and decided to make my own. This simple to make advent calendar can be printed from your own computer in either full color or black and white (the photos are of the black and white version printed on scrapbook paper). It begins on Palm Sunday, the Sunday before Easter, allowing little ones to turn the tag to see what Jesus did on each day during His final week. Cards include a simple picture, short description and a bible verse so you can look up more information if desired. (I used the King James Version of the Bible).
Feel free to use this printable as much as you like and to share it with church groups and family members- no worries about copyright info on this guy. Easter is too important to hold it back :)
Materials needed: Either 2 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ cardstock or 2 sheets of coordinating scrapbook paper, one 4′ long ribbon, 8 paper clips, scissors, glue, printer
Beginners paper crafting skills necessary
(this craft is appropriate for kids ages 8 and up)
