Pattern Description:
Tutorial is very well written and easy to follow with step by step photos. It's a quick tat using only 1 shuttle and ball of thread. Design is excellent for the nature lover. Includes directions for the leaf motif without beads as well as the beaded earring version.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Length of tatted leaf is about 1 and 1/2 inches (4cm) in size 20 Lizbeth thread.
Materials:
- About 6 yards of crochet cotton, "Lizbeth" brand recommended. Size 20 is used for the earring version, but any size can be used for making the pattern as a motif. The finished size depends on the size of thread used.
You Will Also Need:
- To tat this pattern as a motif, you'll need 1 tatting shuttle and a small steel crochet hook (about a size 14/.6mm) to help with joins. To finish as a pair of earrings, you'll also need 24 size 11/0 seed beads, earring findings, 2 jump rings size 5mm and 2 jump rings size 4mm.
