Retro tulip flower garland crafting tutorial and pattern. This is an easy to make pattern with no sewing involved.
Please note you are purchasing a digital PDF that contains the tutorial and pattern - you are NOT buying a finished garland!
Quantity of felt or fabric for flowers - There are five flowers on the garland and it can be seen from both sides.
Each completed flower needs two flower heads and two leaf/stalk pieces so it looks the same from both sides. For each side of the flower head you need a piece of felt/fabric and iron-on adhesive measuring 12 cm x 11 cm and each stalk/leaf measures 20cm x 11cm.
Please note if you choose to use acrylic felt or fabric (which are both thin materials) you will need some spray starch to stiffen your flowers. You can pick this up cheaply at the supermarket - it's the normal type you use on shirts/for laundry.
* Adobe Reader is available for free from www.adobe.com. The PDF and pattern prints onto normal A4 paper.
* You can make this garland to give as a gift for all occasions - it's simple but beautiful. Use your fabric and felt stash to make the flowers in different patterns and/or colours. You can make it longer if you want by adding more flowers to a longer length of ribbon.
