The swatch cards that major fabric manufacturers produce are an excellent way to get an overview of an entire collection of fabrics...but we have all experienced the frustration of trying to use them to select fabrics for a project. The samples are too small, and because they're fixed in place you can't put the swatches next to one another to decide if they "work."
Enter the 4" x 6" swatch card. Designed to work with a 5" square of fabric, these cards are the perfect way to catalogue your stash of solids (as well as the ones you're still missing!), and to compare them with one another and with the prints you're using in your next project!
This file includes a page for each of the 33 different Pure Elements Solids in production as of October 2012.
I hope you find them as useful as I have!
(Please keep in mind that the little colour swatches which appear on each page are meant as guides, and are not necessarily an accurate representation of the corresponding fabric.)

I've been stitching and sewing for as long as I can remember. My first obsession was with cross-stitch, and I designed my first pattern when I was 12. When I began studying architecture I no longer had any spare time (even sleep was a luxury!), but in the last few years I have found my way back to my sewing machine, and I couldn't be happier.
I love seeing how people interpret my patterns, so if you end up making something with one of my patterns or tutorials, I'd love to see a picture of it in my flickr group!
