Pattern Description:

I wanted to create a clear and easy to follow pattern for people to create their own fabulous handmade ornament. I love how the layers in the ornament mimic things that are inspiring in nature like a Pinecone, Lotus Flower or even a Magnolia. These aren't just for Christmas, use them year round to display in your favorite bowl.

This pattern features easy to follow, step by step instructions with color photos and illustrations. Don't have any fabric, no problem! This pattern can also be used with scrapbook paper, newspaper, or ribbon in place of fabric squares. I've also included my email address so you can contact me if you get stuck on a step - but I'm sure you won't need to use it. :-) Once you make one of these, you'll want to make one for all your family and friends!

Materials:

Rotary Cutter and Mat
1/3 Yard of Fabric
3" Styrofoam Ball
70 Straight Pins
10 strip of twine for hanging (optional)
One Tidy Pin for hanging (optional)
Quilters Ruler for cutting fabric squares
