When I planned my daughter's first camping trip at age 1.5, I looked in stores for a child sleeping bag for her. Even though they were "child size", they were huge! I decided to create my own little sleeping bag instead.
The sleeping bag is made from 2 layers of fleece, perfect for outdoor camping, indoor sleepovers, and warming by the fire no matter the weather.
This pattern contains NO-SEW directions for making your very own toddler or child sleeping bag. Not a single stitch is required! The sleeping bag is held together by a series of knots. The difficult level is easy. No crafting skills or experience are necessary. If, for whatever reason, you need help, I am always available via email and would be happy to assist you!
The pattern includes directions for three sizes, for kids ages 1 through 8 (about 50 inches tall or less). It contains 12 pages of directions and is illustrated with 30 color photographs. Directions are also included for making a tie from the fabric scraps (for keeping the sleeping bag rolled up).
