I like to be able to look at the ingredient list of items in my food and know exactly what everything is. Sometimes the best way to be assured of old fashioned goodness is bake or cook from scratch. Authentic French bread is hard to come by, so with experimentation and tweaking of various recipes I developed this one that's a favorite at our house.

In my photos you may catch glimpses of my 1952 Singer 201 sewing machine. It's the best machine I've ever owned, sews a perfect seam, and never needs repairs. I use it for all of my straight stitching and I save the fancy new machine for decorative stitching and FMQ.
