I played with various yarns, boucle, Sirdar Snowflake Chunky, James C Brett Flutterby and Rico Fashion Fur. I would think any textured yarn would work. I've heard that Pipsqueak is very similar to Sirdar Snowflake and I know it is lovely for toy knitting.

Contrasts are knitted in Aran/Worsted weight.


Size will depend on chosen yarn weight.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Sits at approximately 12 inches/30cms


  • 100 grams/190 meters/200 yards Chunky/Bulky Yarn
  • 25 grams worsted/aran weight yarn
  • 3.5mm/4US straight knitting needles
  • Yarn sewing needle
